Base Salary: $120,000 to $145,000 +Best-in-class benefits
Position Overview:
*The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in managing the operations of the Nursing Services Department.
*This includes ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and supervising nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Communicate and implement nursing policies and procedures.
* Participate in admission decisions and daily/weekly management meetings.
* Oversee the onboarding and competencies of licensed nursing staff.
* Assist in evaluating and managing nursing personnel performance.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and improve care quality.
* Coordinate nursing schedules to meet regulatory and patient care standards.
* Supervise nursing care delivery and ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
* Assist in recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff.
* Monitor and address resident incidents and concerns, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
* Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff.
* Provide direct nursing care when necessary and act as an administrative leader in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:
* Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
* Active and unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
* Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare facility.
* Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
* Current CPR certification.
* Proven leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with diverse cultural practices and sensitivity to cultural differences.
* Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary range: $100,000 - $145,000 per year.
