Job Description

Global litigation giant, known for dominating the legal arena, has an immediate need for a Litigation Paralegal. They offer a collaborative environment that values innovation, excellence, and professional growth.

They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled mid-level paralegal to join their New York office, dedicated to handling their Litigation practice . The ideal candidates will possess strong litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage complex cases

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare exhibits to motions and submissions to the Court, including Notice of Appearance, trial exhibit list, deposition designations, and other documents for attorneys.
  • Assist with preparation of exhibits for depositions.
  • Support attorneys with preparation for oral arguments.
  • Organize and maintain documents in both paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Perform administrative duties, including calendar management for hearings and deadlines, case file organization, and logistics coordination.
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
  • Prepare electronic binders and manage logistics for printing and delivery.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
  • File pleadings with court clerks.
  • Attend trials/arbitrations in New York or out of state, liaising between trial teams and internal/external third parties, and providing necessary paralegal support.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.

  • 3+ years of prior litigation experience, ideally with at least one year spent at a top-tier law firm.
  • Experience working on large, complex litigations.
  • Trial experience is a plus but not required for the general litigation position.
  • Must be available for overtime and occasional travel for trials.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of all stages of the litigation process.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive documents and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
