Education, Training and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, maintenance management, or a related field. Minimum seven years of maintenance work experience including lock-out / tag-out safety procedures.
Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics
Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications and use of intranet and internet.
Developed problem solving, team building and staff development skills.
Working knowledge of safety codes and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as chemical labels, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Moderate mechanical aptitude.
Ability to complete and pass Sanitation training courses.
High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Must be self-motivated, proactive and solution focused.
Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with public and staff in a personable and professional manner.
Maintains a high level of energy and a consistent positive attitude.
