The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices in cloud computing, is looking for a student interested in building real-world marketing communication experience to join our team as a Marketing Communications Intern. Learn from a team of talented content and digital marketers and work in the expanding field of cloud and cybersecurity. This part-time internship targets 25 hours per week, starting at $25 per hour.

• Copy Creation: Develop clear, concise, and persuasive copy for email communications with additional copywriting and editing support for social media and blogs. Tailor messaging to resonate with a diverse audience interested in cloud computing and cybersecurity. 
• Manage Content Distribution: Build content into CSA’s marketing automation tool (Pardot). Collaborate with design on associated images and Comms leadership on scheduling and audience targeting. 
• Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all copy is error-free, adheres to grammar and style guidelines, and effectively represents the brand. Revise copy based on feedback and edits provided by comms and marketing leadership.
• Utilize Tools and Processes: Support Communications leadership to manage promotional calendar and respond to inbound comms request tickets. Perform link testing, proofreading, and asset access checking for all communications before they are distributed.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain and reinforce brand voice and messaging consistency across all promotional content.

• Excellent writing and editing skills, technical writing experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate complicated ideas and concepts in a direct and succinct manner
• Strong attention to detail, organization and timeline management skills
• Experience with marketing automation tools (Pardot, Hubspot, or similar) preferred
• Social media (LinkedIn specifically) B2B writing experience
• Candidates must submit writing samples to be considered
