Marketing Manager

• Los Angeles or San Diego, CA
• ~20 hours/week | hybrid in-person and from home
• $40-$75/hr, based on experience

This is a three-month, part-time contract role with the hope that it will turn into a long-term role. The extension will be determined by performance, business needs, and mutual fit.

About Nothing Else

Nothing Else is redefining skincare with simplicity and transparency. We’re launching on April 1st, and we need a Marketing Manager who can own the entire marketing function, build our brand, and drive customer growth from day one.

The Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute our entire marketing strategy. You’ll be responsible for everything from brand positioning and content strategy to paid ads and influencer partnerships. If you love wearing multiple hats, building from scratch, and making a real impact—this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Own the marketing function —strategy, execution, and performance
• Develop and execute brand and growth strategies across multiple channels (social, email, web, paid, influencer, PR)
• Build and manage the content strategy (organic & paid)
• Oversee social media marketing and community engagement
• Launch and optimize paid campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.)
• Drive brand partnerships and influencer collaborations
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies for growth
• Work closely with the founder to align marketing with business goals

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of marketing experience , preferably in DTC, beauty, skincare, or consumer brands
• A scrappy, get-things-done attitude—comfortable being both strategic and executional
• Proven experience driving brand awareness and customer acquisition
• Strong knowledge of social media, paid ads, email marketing, and influencer marketing
• Ability to work independently and own results
• Experience with e-commerce and performance marketing is a plus

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($40-$75/hr)
