Job Description

Interamerican Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to service the South Florida area who can provide exceptional customer service while building new relationships to continue the growth of the company. The candidate will be based out of our Main Branch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultations: Interview applicants to assess loan needs and gather financial information.
• Loan Analysis: Evaluate applicant financial status, credit, and assets to determine loan eligibility.
• Application Processing: Prepare, compile, and verify loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Customer Support: Resolve applicant inquiries and clarify loan terms, fees, and repayment options.
• Collaboration: Work closely with credit analysts and processing teams to ensure smooth loan approvals and closings.
• Market Development: Identify new loan opportunities and build relationships with potential borrowers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about updated lending policies, legislation, and industry regulations.
• Product Promotion: Cross-sell mortgage-related financial products and services.

• Experience in financial analysis, credit evaluation, and loan structuring

• Personal Production Goal: You will need to set and meet a personal production goal for loan closings each month, consistently achieving or exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills related to loan calculations
• Proficiency in financial documentation, contract interpretation, and lending procedures
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently
