Job Description: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Clinician
Summary:
The PHP Clinician conducts intake interviews, assessments, and formulates diagnoses, providing recommendations for treatment. This role requires knowledge of addiction, mental illness, twelve-step recovery, and evidence-based practices.
Essential Duties:
Develop, implement, and adjust treatment and care plans as needed.
Conduct case management and prepare discharge summaries.
Provide crisis management and on-call consultations as needed.
Coordinate with external providers and referral sources.
Maintain credentialing through continuing education and in-service training.
Attend meetings, receive supervision, and participate in clinical reviews.
Ensure compliance with third-party payers, including documentation and pre-certifications.
Mentor interns and counselors and uphold ethical standards, including confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of supervised counseling experience, familiarity with EMRs, and tele-health platforms.Skills:
Training in particular population areas is necessary for effective counseling and care management.
Ability to interact and relate to persons in early recovery from addiction and chronic mental health concerns.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Independent license (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) preferred.
