Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 2025!

When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager (Full-Time)

Our ideal candidate will work i n conjunction with the Director and be responsible for the operational management and strategic planning of the Pharmacy Department.  They will have 24/7 accountability and responsibility for assigned area(s).  Some  travel may be required.  P erforms other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy 
• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) or Master's Degree 
• 5 years of professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background 

• Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in the District of Columbia

Skills

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Software skills using MS office, proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel, some knowledge of MS Access 
• Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis Reports (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.) 
• Ability to evaluate publications, studies, clinical research and clinical data collection and apply it to day to day clinical programs for the facility 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality 
• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
