Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Field Technician to conduct field audits, quality inspections, and compliance reporting for telecommunications construction projects. This role involves extensive travel across Georgia, including Augusta and Savannah, and requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field audits and collect data for reports and presentations to supervisors.
• Conduct random sampling of fieldwork and prepare detailed reports.
• Drive to multiple locations across Georgia, including Augusta and Savannah.
• Perform quality control inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
• Conduct final inspections as requested by customers to verify compliance with construction standards.
• Identify and report non-compliance issues, ensuring proper resolution.
• Document and track testing results to ensure all requirements are met.
• Monitor installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management.
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of telecommunications Outside Plant (aerial and underground) construction industry standards and best practices.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Three years of quality control experience in the telecommunications or construction industry.
• Understanding of customer installation standards and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in an industry-related field or equivalent work experience.

Physical Requirements

• Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, operate a vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and use a keyboard and mouse.
• Occasionally: Work at heights, use ladders, and lift over 55 pounds.
