Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION :

The Senior Recruiter works closely with hiring managers, TA leaders and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs and develop, implement and refine a well-rounded recruitment strategy that delivers quality candidates to assigned business units. The Senior TA Partner is an integral thought partner that drives all full-cycle recruiting activities, proactive sourcing and pipeline strategies, leads projects and mentors teammates.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads full-cycle recruiting activities to include sourcing, reviewing resumes, pre-screening candidates, and offer process.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive and targeted candidate attraction and development techniques to identify a high quality, diverse candidate pool.
  • Aggressively source passive candidates for tough-to-fill positions and creatively source for niche roles.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships and frequent communication with hiring managers across all business units to understand the needs and roles to be filled by advising, influencing and challenging when needed.
  • Provides consultative feedback to deliver insights and solutions to achieve hiring goals and assist in selection decisions. Establish credibility and foster partnership among key stakeholders.
  • Leverage social media, local and online career fairs, and job boards to increase corporate visibility and identify potential candidates.
  • Develop and nurture an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of hiring goals.
  • Effectively recruits for a variety of positions at various levels and difficulty. Adapts recruiting approach to fit the need of each search.
  • Acts as lead on Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives and provides mentorship and training to less experienced team members.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and proactively delivers solutions to challenges.
  • Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all talent acquisition touch points and enhance the FlightSafety International brand.
  • Pre-qualify resumes, conduct phone/video interviews and present qualified applicants to assigned hiring managers for further consideration.
  • Maintain or exceed established KPIs, including time to fill, hiring target goals, quality of hire metrics, and hiring manager satisfaction scores, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 + years of talent acquisition or relevant experience
  • 1+ years of agency experience preferred
  • Skilled in proactive candidate sourcing methods including LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced internet research techniques (x-ray, flip search, etc.)
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen to lead continuous improvement initiatives related to Talent Acquisition programs, processes and tools
  • Able to effectively manage business relationships as a consultant to executive leadership team members while serving as Talent Acquisition subject matter expert

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated competencies in the areas of recruitment, change management and compensation
  • Proven ability to manage time and priorities in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle complex issues and problems independently
  • Must have the ability to be a highly effective relationship builder
  • Previous experience with SuccessFactors Performance Management software preferred
