McCann Content Studios is a department within McCann New York responsible for the development, ideation, and execution of social-focused brand campaigns. The McCann Content Studio is defined by hybrid skillsets and driven by modern online culture, and you’ll be working on a wide variety of projects for some of the best loved brands in the U.S. across multiple consumer categories.

We're seeking a collaborative Social Senior Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring their social media needs are met. This role combines business leadership, account management, and social media strategy to act as a partner to clients in creating social content that resonates across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more. You will be expected to partner with internal Creative Leads both inside of McCann Content Studios as well as the larger McCann agency, as well as client teams across disciplines to service the range of needs to support the development of video and digital content for brands. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a client-facing expert in social and digital media, responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that drive engagement and growth for our clients.

What You Do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees social media project portfolio across multiple clients/brands
  • Develops and implements project management methodologies specific to social
  • Creates resource allocation strategies across teams and projects
  • Builds and maintains client relationships at executive level
  • Manages large-scale project budgets ($1M+)
  • Leads crisis management and risk mitigation strategies

Team Management:

  • Manages and mentors team of project managers
  • Develops training programs for project management team
  • Creates workflow optimization strategies
  • Oversees resource planning across multiple teams
  • Handles escalated client and internal issues

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years specifically in social media
  • Experience managing $1M+ annual budgets
  • Track record of leading large teams
  • History of implementing PM systems/tools

Location:

McCann New York team members must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York Tristate area unless otherwise agreed upon by their manager and McCann New York’s Human Resources team. McCann New York is a hybrid workplace with three days in-office per week.

Salary Range:

The salary for this position is $95,000-$115,000. Salary ranges depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
