Job Description

Pay: $35.00+ per hour

Position Type: Full-time, First Shift, Permanent

Bescast is looking for an experienced Tool and Die Maker / Die Repair to support our manufacturing operations by building, modifying, and repairing molds, machining fixtures, and inspection tools. This role is critical to maintaining quality and efficiency in production.

Position Overview

• Set up milling fixtures and tooling according to specifications
• Build, modify, and repair molds, machining fixtures, and manufacturing aids
• Troubleshoot tooling and wax injection mold issues
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Work directly with Supervisors, Engineers, Programmers, and Inspection personnel
• Ensure all tooling meets customer requirements and industry standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker Certification (apprenticeship completion required)
• Proficiency in Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, and surface grinders
• Ability to set up and run a 3-Axis CNC Mill
• Strong knowledge of machining practices and GD&T principles
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection tools
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Must be available for overtime and weekends when necessary

This is a stable, long-term opportunity for those with experience in tooling and mold making.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) that requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder').
