Job Title: ABA Therapist

Location: Locust Valley, Nassau County, NY

Schedule: 5 sessions per week, 60 minutes per session

Pay Rate: $85 - $98 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled ABA Therapist to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism in a one-on-one setting. The successful candidate will work with clients in Locust Valley, NY, delivering therapeutic interventions based on individualized treatment plans to help improve social, communication, and behavioral skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized ABA therapy plans as developed by a BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst).
• Conduct 5 weekly therapy sessions, each lasting 60 minutes.
• Work with clients to promote skill development in areas such as communication, social interactions, self-help, and behavior management.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during each session.
• Modify strategies and techniques based on client responses and data.
• Provide consistent, positive reinforcement and ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain regular communication with the BCBA and family members about the client's progress and needs.
• Follow all ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Must be Certified ABA Therapist through New York State.
• 1 year Experience providing ABA therapy or working with children with autism spectrum disorder is preferred.
• Training in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Locust Valley.
