Marketing Specialist

Location: Virginia Beach, VA (moving from Norfolk to a new VB location mid-Feb 2025)

Our core business is focused on delivering automation products and services to Department of Defense/US Navy and commercial shipboard applications.

We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Specialist to optimize and execute a well-rounded marketing plan to drive lead generation, revenue growth, and customer awareness of our products and services. The ideal candidate will be capable of executing on a wide variety of disciplines, including digital marketing, website optimization, graphic design, and written content creation. Certainly, experience marketing electronic products in an industrial or military business-to-business marketplace is a plus; however, a willingness to dive in and really learn our products is, ideally, preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Work in close collaboration with our sales team to identify necessary marketing collateral to support lead generation and sales growth
• Develop digital and print collateral/content to support sales, web and social (datasheets, capabilities brochures, blogs)
• Update, maintain, and optimize the NAG Marine website which has been recently migrated from a Drupal to a WordPress site
• Utilize web analytics to measure results
• Drive online marketing and an ever increasing relevance across our social media channels
• Develop content, promote, and execute a key role in coordinating our participation as an exhibitor in various trade shows and industry events
• Capture & report results and key metrics of marketing efforts to the management team to influence decision making

Experience and Education:

• BA/BS in Marketing
• 3+ Years’ experience in a direct marketing environment
• A proficiency with updating and maintaining an existing WordPress website
• Graphic Design capabilities and experience
• Past Experience marketing computer/electronic products in an industrial/military marketplace
• Strong written communication and copywriting skills
