We have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our team in Plant City, Florida as a Chef in our office cafe. The chef will report to our Office Manager and be responsible for providing delicious, fresh, and healthy meals for our dedicated employees. We are looking for someone with high performance standards who can execute well and flourish in a dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and prepare fresh lunches (and some breakfasts) for up to 50 employees per day, four to five times a week as the sole chef in our state of the art kitchen
• Prepare food for office meetings, events or gatherings on-site as needed
• Purchase supplies and groceries daily to weekly, within budget
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire cafe
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and within budget
• Coordinate with Office Manager for repair services to ensure appliances are regularly serviced and in good working order
• Work with our marketing team to develop and create new berry recipes
• Strong adherence to food safety protocols always
• Other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive and friendly attitude aligned with the Wish Farms culture
• Prior restaurant, catering or corporate chef experience
• SERV Safe certification required upon hiring
• Detail oriented with an ability to multitask and strong self-structure
• Ability to stand for multiple hours
• Effective time management skills
• Strict cleanliness and strong organizational abilities
• Recipe development experience
