Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing support to Account Managers involved with the sales of prototype and pre-production orders to Hutchinson’s customers and prospects in the region. The successful delivery of a first spot orders is a “stepping stone” to developing solid and long term partnerships.

The duties also include a supporting role with active communication and marketing efforts in front of Hutchinson’s customers.

The position acts as a “face” of the company with a goal to elevate brand awareness and recognition for Hutchinson Belt Drive Systems in the North American light and heavy duty industrial market.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilize Hutchinson tools to coordinate spot buy orders prototype and pre-production RFQ’s
• Provide office support to Sales Staff with the set-up of new customer accounts with the accounting personnel
• Quote prototype costs with the support of Prototype shops located in France, Mexico, and the Sales personnel in N.A.
• Accountable for on-time deliveries of first orders to all customers
• Coordinate and communicate prototype delivery schedules to Automotive and Appliance OEMS, in addition to Industry
• Primary liaison for prototype management to the manufacturing plants, process engineers and product engineers.
• Coordinate and communicate the publication of annual pricing revisions set by the Sales managers to the various tiers of industry customers
• Gather and maintain CRM database.

Educational and Skills Requirements

• 2 years’ experience of industrial B2B sales/customer service
• Highly motivated and results oriented
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision
• Intermediate level computer skills; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
