Sales Manager – Automotive

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager for a leading Tier One Automotive Supplier. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, managing key customer accounts, and driving revenue growth within the automotive industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong customer relationship skills to join a growing company at the forefront of automotive innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team in developing and executing strategies to grow business with key Tier One automotive customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Drive new business development by identifying and pursuing opportunities with automotive OEMs and Tier One suppliers.
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including forecasting, pricing negotiations, and contract management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product development, to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the sales team to enhance performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, outlining progress, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements in all sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3 years in a management role within the Tier One supplier sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and the supply chain.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to drive business strategy.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 based on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday
