Role : Salesforce Solution Architect

Location : San Francisco, CA – required to be in office 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.

ROLE SUMMARY

As our Salesforce Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with our Technical Architect to bring architectural strategies to life with a focus on execution, optimization, and scalability. This role focuses on hands-on implementation, ensuring seamless integrations, DevOps efficiency, and system performance. Your work will be critical in translating architecture plans into functional, scalable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Join Conventus’ Salesforce Architecture Team, partnering closely with our Technical Architect on the end-to-end implementation of scalable CRM solutions. This role will encompass the following responsibilities:

Building and Development :

  • Collaborate with the Technical Architect, as well as the Sales Enablement and Product Teams to implement and own CRM enhancements while ensuring optimized system performance and scalability
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development, troubleshooting, and deployment best practices
  • Ensure all Salesforce configurations, integrations, and DevOps processes align with established architectural guidelines
  • Innovate with Salesforce tools such as Flow, Process Builder, or Lightning App Builder to create intuitive and efficient user interfaces
  • Develop and maintain custom API connections and middleware solutions to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and critical external systems, including our Loan Origination System and marketing automation platforms
  • Configure and customize lead generation processes for our Sales team within our existing ecosystem and champion all data workflow and data integrity
  • Develop advanced reporting and dashboard solutions within Salesforce to provide insights into customer interactions and the performance of our Sales team
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our processes and systems and demonstrate ability to prioritize workload based on criticality
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and process flows for all system processes, configurations and integrations

Technical Performance and Monitoring :

  • Implement and optimize Salesforce development processes to enhance system stability and efficiency
  • Identify and resolve complex technical challenges in Salesforce
  • Implement test protocols and perform ongoing monitoring and testing of workflows
  • Conduct user feedback sessions and translate insights into actionable CRM enhancements
  • Performance benchmarking: set benchmarks, measure against them and improve architecture while ensuring compliance with Salesforce governor limits and best practices
  • Continuous ongoing monitoring of existing and newly developed processes

Operations and Initiative :

  • Work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment alongside the entire Technology Team as well as the Office of the Chief Revenue Officer
  • Partner with product and project managers to implement and refine Salesforce solutions
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and take initiative to propose solutions and improvement opportunities
  • Utilize a client-centric mindset to manage technical requirements and build client workflows throughout our sales lifecycle

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with end-users and key stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge in CRM best practices for development, testing and deployment
  • Understanding of Salesforce governance limits, security models, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
  • Knowledge of UX principles and designing a CRM for optimized user experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce API integrations, including REST, SOAP, and middleware solutions (Mulesoft, Boomi, or ETL tools)
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX)
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce and Lightning programming for custom logic and integration, custom UI and Salesforce development
  • Experience with middleware solutions or ETL tools
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot Marketing Clouds
  • Experience in AWS preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Python preferred, but not required

Required Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

Preferred Cerifications (in order of preference, needs to have atleast one of these)

  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
  • Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Designer
  • Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer
  • Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate or graduate degrees in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of technology integration and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of Salesforce specific experience, with proven experience in hands-on development and configuration
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies
  • Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
  • Understanding of various coding methods and computer languages
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Understanding of data security
