Position: Senior Automation Engineer

Duration: Full Time

Location: Lorton, VA

Compensation: 150k (open to seeing higher salary candidates)

Must Haves:

Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical discipline

• An associate’s degree or High School diploma would be acceptable with applicable working experience

Certifications, Licenses, and Clearances:

• Active Top-Secret Clearance

Experience:

• 5+ years working with UiPath
• Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or other RPA software suites are less preferred
• 3+ years in Consulting, Financial Services, IT Operations, or Defense industries
• 3+ years of object-oriented programming (VB, VB.NET, VBA, or C# preferred) and knowledge of programming best practices

Skills:

• Proficiency in Robotic Process Automation and object-oriented programming
• Strong consulting and advising capabilities
• (Preferred) Experience in web development using HTML and JavaScript
• (Preferred) Experience with SQL or PL/SQL for database management
• (Preferred) Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the completion of automation projects for federal clients, ensuring timely and successful delivery
• Technical Leadership: Perform as a Business Analyst, Developer, and Solution Architect, providing technical guidance and enforcing standards across automation efforts
• Client Consultation: Contribute technical insights during presales consultations to support RPA adoption and implementation
• Development and Programming: Utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools and object-oriented programming to develop and implement automation solutions
• Web Development: (Preferred) Develop web applications using HTML and JavaScript
• Database Management: (Preferred) Read from, write to, and manipulate databases using SQL or PL/SQL
• IT Infrastructure: (Preferred) Work with IT infrastructure and networking to support automation projects
• Organizational Skills: Maintain solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple concurrent projects
